Hojo Tokimasa
Hojo Tokimasa was a prominent Japanese samurai and the founder of the Hojo clan, which played a significant role during the Kamakura period. Born in 1138, he served as a military leader and became the first shikken, or regent, for the shogunate, overseeing the governance of Japan on behalf of the shogun.
