Hoglins are large, hostile mobs found in the Nether dimension of the game Minecraft. They resemble wild boars and are known for their aggressive behavior, attacking players and other mobs on sight. Hoglins spawn in the Crimson Forest biome and can be a source of food, dropping cooked porkchop when killed. Hoglins are unique in that they can be bred using crimson fungi, allowing players to create more of these creatures. When in the Overworld, Hoglins can become panicked and will attempt to escape, making them a challenge to manage outside their native environment.
