Hmong Languages
The Hmong languages are a group of related languages spoken by the Hmong people, primarily found in regions of Southeast Asia, including Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand. These languages belong to the Hmong-Mien language family and are characterized by their tonal nature, meaning that the pitch used when pronouncing a word can change its meaning.
There are several dialects within the Hmong languages, with the two main ones being Hmong Daw and Mong Leng. Each dialect has its own unique features and variations, but they share a common linguistic heritage. The Hmong languages are also used in cultural expressions, such as traditional songs and storytelling.
