Hitler's Wolf's Lair
Hitler's Wolf's Lair, or Wolfsschanze, was a secret military headquarters used by Adolf Hitler during World War II. Located in the forests of northeastern Poland, it served as a base for planning operations on the Eastern Front. The complex included bunkers, barracks, and support facilities, designed to withstand air attacks.
Constructed in 1941, the Wolf's Lair was heavily fortified and surrounded by a security perimeter. It was here that Hitler directed key military strategies and survived an assassination attempt in 1944. The site was abandoned by German forces in 1945 and is now a historical tourist attraction.
