Wolfsschanze
Wolfsschanze, or Wolf's Lair, was a military headquarters used by Adolf Hitler during World War II. Located in the forests of East Prussia, it served as a base for planning operations on the Eastern Front. The complex included bunkers, barracks, and support facilities, designed for security and secrecy.
Constructed in 1941, Wolfsschanze was heavily fortified and surrounded by a network of trenches and obstacles. It was the site of several important meetings and decisions, including the planning of the failed Operation Barbarossa. After the war, the site was abandoned and is now a historical tourist attraction.
