Hindu Nationalist Organizations
Hindu nationalist organizations are groups that promote the idea of Hindu nationalism, which emphasizes the cultural and religious identity of Hindus in India. These organizations often advocate for policies that they believe will protect and promote Hindu values and traditions, sometimes in opposition to other religious or cultural groups.
One of the most prominent Hindu nationalist organizations is the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), founded in 1925. The RSS and its affiliates, such as the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), work to influence politics and society in ways that align with their vision of a Hindu-centric nation.
