Hideki Tojo
Hideki Tojo was a Japanese general and politician who served as the Prime Minister of Japan during much of World War II. He was born on December 30, 1884, and became a prominent military leader, advocating for Japan's expansionist policies in Asia. Tojo played a key role in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, which led to Japan's entry into the war against the United States.
After Japan's defeat in 1945, Tojo was arrested and tried for war crimes. He was found guilty and executed on December 23, 1948. His leadership and decisions during the war have been widely studied and debated in the context of Japanese history and military strategy.
