Hexes (Shapes)
A hexagon is a six-sided polygon characterized by its six edges and six vertices. The internal angles of a regular hexagon each measure 120 degrees, making it a symmetrical shape. Hexagons can be found in various forms in nature and design, such as in honeycombs created by bees and in certain crystals.
Hexagons are also significant in mathematics and geometry. They can be regular, with all sides and angles equal, or irregular, with varying lengths and angles. Their unique structure allows for efficient packing and tiling, making them popular in architecture and engineering, as seen in geodesic domes and tile patterns.
