Herrerasaurus
Herrerasaurus is a genus of early dinosaur that lived during the Late Triassic period, around 231 million years ago. It was discovered in Argentina and is considered one of the oldest known dinosaurs. Herrerasaurus was a bipedal carnivore, meaning it walked on two legs and primarily ate meat.
This dinosaur measured about 10 to 13 feet long and had a long tail, sharp teeth, and a lightweight body. Its discovery has provided valuable insights into the evolution of dinosaurs and their early adaptations. Herrerasaurus is often classified as a member of the group Saurischia, which includes both theropods and sauropodomorphs.
