Hepatic Cysts
Hepatic cysts are fluid-filled sacs that form in the liver. They are usually benign, meaning they are not cancerous, and often do not cause any symptoms. Many people may have hepatic cysts without even knowing it, as they are often discovered incidentally during imaging tests for other conditions.
Most hepatic cysts do not require treatment unless they become large or symptomatic. In rare cases, complications can arise, such as infection or bleeding. Regular monitoring through imaging, like ultrasound or CT scans, may be recommended to ensure they remain stable.
