Henry I of Castile
Henry I of Castile was a king who ruled from 1217 to 1217. He was the son of Alfonso VIII of Castile and Eleanor of England. His reign was marked by political instability and conflicts with the nobility, which ultimately led to his early death at a young age.
Henry I's rule was brief, and he was succeeded by his half-brother, Ferdinand III of Castile. Despite his short time on the throne, Henry's lineage continued to influence the history of Castile and the broader Iberian Peninsula. His reign is often overshadowed by the achievements of his successors.
