Henry Fox-Strangways, 3rd Earl of Ilchester
Henry Fox-Strangways, 3rd Earl of Ilchester (1804-1858), was a British nobleman and politician. He succeeded his father, the 2nd Earl of Ilchester, and was known for his involvement in local governance and the Whig Party. He served as a Member of Parliament for Somerset and held various positions in local administration.
The 3rd Earl was also a notable landowner, managing extensive estates in Dorset and Somerset. His contributions to agriculture and estate management were significant during his time. He was married to Lady Mary Fox-Strangways, and they had several children, continuing the family lineage.
