Henry FitzAlan, 16th Earl of Arundel
Henry FitzAlan, 16th Earl of Arundel (1512–1580), was a prominent English nobleman during the Tudor period. He was the son of Henry FitzAlan, 15th Earl of Arundel and inherited the title in 1544. FitzAlan was known for his loyalty to the Catholic Church and was involved in various political and military affairs of the time.
As a member of the House of Lords, FitzAlan played a significant role in the governance of England. He was also a supporter of Mary I and opposed the Protestant Reformation, which influenced his relationships with other nobles and the monarchy.
