Henry, 2nd Earl of Lancaster
Henry, 2nd Earl of Lancaster (c. 1281–1345) was a prominent English nobleman during the medieval period. He was the son of Henry, 1st Earl of Lancaster and Maud Chaworth. Henry played a significant role in the political landscape of England, particularly during the reign of King Edward II and King Edward III.
As a member of the Plantagenet family, Henry was involved in various military campaigns and held considerable lands in England. He was known for his loyalty to the crown, but also for his opposition to the unpopular policies of Edward II, which contributed to the ongoing conflicts of the time.
