Henri Gaudier-Brzeska
Henri Gaudier-Brzeska was a French sculptor born on October 4, 1891, in Paris. He is known for his innovative approach to sculpture, combining elements of Cubism and Futurism. His works often featured bold forms and dynamic lines, reflecting the energy of the early 20th century.
Gaudier-Brzeska moved to England in 1910, where he became part of the Vorticism movement, associated with artists like Ezra Pound and Wyndham Lewis. His most famous pieces include the sculptures "The Bird Swallowing a Fish" and "The Dancer." Tragically, he died in 1915 during World War I, cutting short a promising career.
