Helios 2
Helios 2 refers to a series of advanced Earth observation satellites launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) as part of the Helios program. These satellites are designed to provide high-resolution imagery for military and civilian applications, including environmental monitoring and disaster management.
The first satellite in the Helios 2 series, Helios 2A, was launched in December 2004, followed by Helios 2B in March 2009. Equipped with sophisticated sensors, these satellites can capture detailed images of the Earth's surface, enhancing surveillance capabilities and supporting various governmental and commercial activities.
