Heavy Naphtha
Heavy naphtha is a type of hydrocarbon liquid derived from crude oil during the refining process. It consists of larger molecules compared to light naphtha and is typically used as a feedstock in the production of gasoline and petrochemicals. Its boiling range is generally between 150°C and 200°C, making it heavier than lighter fractions.
In addition to fuel production, heavy naphtha can be used in the manufacturing of solvents and chemical intermediates. It plays a crucial role in the petrochemical industry, where it serves as a building block for various products, including plastics and synthetic fibers.
