Heat Strengthened Glass
Heat Strengthened Glass is a type of glass that undergoes a special heating process to enhance its strength. During this process, the glass is heated to a high temperature and then cooled rapidly, which creates internal compressive stresses. This makes the glass more resistant to impact and thermal stress compared to regular glass.
Unlike Tempered Glass, which is heated to an even higher temperature and cooled more quickly, heat strengthened glass is less likely to shatter into small pieces when broken. It is commonly used in applications like windows, facades, and glass doors where added strength and safety are important.
