Hatoyama Yukio
Hatoyama Yukio is a Japanese politician who served as the Prime Minister of Japan from September 2009 to June 2010. He is a member of the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) and was the first Prime Minister from the DPJ after the party won a historic election, ending over 50 years of Liberal Democratic Party rule.
Born on February 11, 1947, in Tokyo, Hatoyama comes from a prominent political family. He studied at University of Tokyo and later at Stanford University. His tenure as Prime Minister was marked by challenges, including economic issues and foreign relations, leading to his resignation after less than a year in office.
