Harsimrat Kaur Badal is an Indian politician and a member of the Shiromani Akali Dal party. She has served as a Member of Parliament for Bathinda in Punjab and held the position of Minister of Food Processing Industries in the Government of India. Born on July 25, 1966, she comes from a prominent political family, being the daughter of Surjit Singh Barnala, a former Chief Minister of Punjab.
