Harry K. Thaw
Harry K. Thaw was an American socialite and heir born on July 12, 1871. He is best known for his involvement in the high-profile murder case of Stanford White, a prominent architect. Thaw was married to Evelyn Nesbit, a famous model and actress, who had a romantic history with White, which fueled Thaw's jealousy.
In 1906, Thaw shot and killed White in a New York City theater, claiming it was an act of revenge for the alleged abuse of his wife. His trial garnered significant media attention, leading to debates about mental health and the legal system. Thaw was eventually found not guilty by reason of insanity.
