Harold Harefoot
Harold Harefoot was an English king who ruled from 1035 to 1040. He was the son of King Cnut and Aelgifu of Northumbria. Harold became king after the death of his half-brother, Harthacnut, and was known for his strong leadership during a time of political instability in England.
Harold's reign was marked by conflicts with rival factions, particularly those loyal to Harthacnut. He was often seen as a usurper, and his rule ended when he died in 1040. After his death, Harthacnut returned to claim the throne, leading to a shift in power in England.
