Hamadryas Baboon
The Hamadryas Baboon is a large primate native to the Horn of Africa and the southwestern Arabian Peninsula. Known for their distinctive appearance, males have a long, flowing mane and a colorful face, while females are smaller and less colorful. They live in social groups called troops, which can consist of several males and many females.
These baboons are primarily terrestrial, spending most of their time on the ground. They are omnivorous, feeding on fruits, seeds, and small animals. Their social structure is complex, with a strong emphasis on hierarchy and grooming behaviors that help maintain social bonds within the troop.
