HMS Indomitable was a British aircraft carrier of the Royal Navy, launched in 1940. She was part of the Audacious-class and played a significant role during World War II, participating in various operations, including the Battle of Taranto and the D-Day landings. The carrier was designed to support naval aviation and could carry a large number of aircraft. HMS Indomitable was notable for her resilience, surviving multiple attacks and continuing to serve until her decommissioning in 1955.
