HID
HID stands for High-Intensity Discharge, a type of lighting technology commonly used in various applications, including streetlights, stadiums, and vehicle headlights. HID lamps produce light by creating an electric arc between two electrodes in a gas-filled tube, resulting in a bright and efficient illumination. They are known for their high lumen output and energy efficiency compared to traditional incandescent bulbs.
HID lights come in different types, such as metal halide and high-pressure sodium, each offering unique color temperatures and applications. These lights are often favored for their long lifespan and ability to produce a significant amount of light, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings.
