Human Interface Devices
Human Interface Devices (HIDs) are peripherals that allow users to interact with computers and other electronic systems. Common examples include keyboards, mice, and game controllers. These devices convert user actions into signals that the computer can understand, enabling tasks like typing, clicking, and gaming.
HIDs can be categorized into two main types: input devices and output devices. Input devices, such as touchscreens and microphones, gather data from users, while output devices, like printers and speakers, convey information back to users. Together, they enhance the user experience by facilitating communication between humans and machines.
