HAVO
HAVO, or "Hoger Algemeen Voortgezet Onderwijs," is a secondary education level in the Netherlands. It typically lasts five years and prepares students for higher professional education, such as universities of applied sciences. Students usually enter HAVO after completing VMBO, which is a lower secondary education level.
The curriculum in HAVO includes a broad range of subjects, including mathematics, languages, and sciences. Students are assessed through exams, and successful completion allows them to pursue further education in various fields, enhancing their career opportunities in the future.
