H.O.T.
H.O.T. is a South Korean boy band formed in 1996, known for being one of the first idol groups in the K-pop genre. The group originally consisted of five members: Moon Hee-jun, Tony An, Lee Jae-won, Jang Woo-hyuk, and Kangta. They gained immense popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s, contributing to the rise of the Korean Wave, or Hallyu.
The band's music style blends various genres, including pop, rock, and hip-hop, and they are recognized for their energetic performances and catchy songs. H.O.T. disbanded in 2001 but reunited for special performances, leaving a lasting legacy in the K-pop industry and influencing many later groups.
