H-I Rocket
The H-I Rocket was a Japanese launch vehicle developed by the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) in the 1980s. It was designed to place small payloads into low Earth orbit and was notable for its use of solid rocket boosters, which enhanced its launch capabilities. The H-I had a two-stage configuration and was primarily used for launching satellites.
The first flight of the H-I Rocket occurred in 1986, and it successfully completed a total of 10 missions until its retirement in 1992. It played a significant role in advancing Japan's space technology and laid the groundwork for subsequent rockets, such as the H-II Rocket.
