Gyula Gömbös
Gyula Gömbös was a Hungarian politician and military officer who served as Prime Minister of Hungary from 1932 to 1936. He was a member of the Hungarian National Party and later founded the Hungarian National Socialist Party. Gömbös was known for his authoritarian style of governance and his efforts to align Hungary more closely with Nazi Germany.
During his tenure, Gömbös implemented various economic and social reforms aimed at modernizing Hungary. He promoted nationalist policies and sought to strengthen the military. His government faced criticism for its repressive measures against political opponents and minority groups, particularly the Jewish community in Hungary.
