Gus Dur
Abdurrahman Wahid, commonly known as Gus Dur, was an influential Indonesian politician and religious leader. Born on September 7, 1940, he served as the fourth President of Indonesia from 1999 to 2001. Gus Dur was known for his progressive views on democracy, pluralism, and human rights, advocating for the rights of minority groups in the country.
