Guna
In Hindu philosophy, "Guna" refers to the three fundamental qualities or attributes that influence human behavior and the nature of all things. These qualities are Sattva (purity, harmony, and knowledge), Rajas (activity, passion, and dynamism), and Tamas (inertia, darkness, and ignorance). Each Guna plays a role in shaping an individual's personality and actions.
The interplay of these Gunas is essential in understanding the Samkhya philosophy, which explains how they affect the mind and body. A balance of Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas is believed to lead to a harmonious life, while an imbalance can result in various challenges and conflicts.
