Guineas (Animal)
Guineas, commonly known as guinea fowl, are medium-sized birds native to Africa. They are known for their distinctive spotted feathers and unique vocalizations. These birds are social creatures, often found in flocks, and they play a role in controlling insect populations by feeding on pests like ticks and beetles.
There are several species of guinea fowl, with the most common being the helmeted guinea fowl. They are domesticated in many parts of the world for their meat and eggs. Guineas are hardy birds, able to adapt to various environments, and are often kept on farms for both agricultural and ornamental purposes.
