Guayana Region
The Guayana Region is located in the southern part of Venezuela, characterized by its vast landscapes, including plateaus, rivers, and dense rainforests. It is home to the famous Angel Falls, the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, and is rich in biodiversity, hosting numerous species of plants and animals.
This region is also known for its mineral resources, particularly gold and bauxite, which contribute to the local economy. The indigenous peoples, such as the Pemon and Yanomami, inhabit the area, maintaining their traditional lifestyles while facing challenges from external influences and environmental changes.
