Guatapé Reservoir
The Guatapé Reservoir is a large artificial lake located in the Antioquia department of Colombia. It was created in the 1970s by damming the Guatapé River to generate hydroelectric power. The reservoir is known for its stunning turquoise waters and numerous islands, making it a popular destination for water sports and recreational activities.
