Guédé
Guédé is a figure in Haitian Vodou, often associated with death and the afterlife. He is typically depicted as a playful and mischievous spirit, known for his distinctive attire, which often includes a top hat and sunglasses. Guédé is revered for his ability to connect the living with the dead, serving as a guide for souls in the afterlife.
In Vodou rituals, Guédé is invoked for protection and healing, as well as to honor ancestors. His followers celebrate him during the Fête Gede, a festival that takes place in early November, coinciding with the Day of the Dead in other cultures.
