Groupers
Groupers are a type of fish belonging to the family Epinephelidae. They are commonly found in warm, shallow waters, particularly around coral reefs. Groupers are known for their stout bodies and large mouths, which they use to catch prey such as smaller fish and crustaceans. There are over 150 species of groupers, varying in size and color.
These fish are important to both commercial and recreational fishing. Groupers are often sought after for their firm, white flesh, making them a popular choice in seafood dishes. Conservation efforts are in place to protect certain species of groupers, as overfishing has led to declining populations in some areas.
