Ground Zero
"Ground Zero" refers to the site in New York City where the World Trade Center towers stood before the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. After the attacks, the area became a symbol of loss and resilience, as it was the location where nearly 3,000 people lost their lives.
In the years following the attacks, Ground Zero was transformed into a memorial and a place of reflection. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum now honors the victims and educates visitors about the events of that day, serving as a reminder of the impact of terrorism and the importance of unity.
