Groin Injury
A groin injury refers to damage or strain in the muscles or tendons located in the inner thigh area. This type of injury often occurs during activities that involve sudden movements, such as running, jumping, or changing direction. Symptoms may include pain, swelling, and difficulty moving the leg.
Treatment for a groin injury typically involves rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE). In some cases, physical therapy may be recommended to strengthen the muscles and improve flexibility. Most mild to moderate groin injuries heal within a few weeks, but severe injuries may require medical intervention.
