Greek Government
The Greek Government operates as a parliamentary republic, where the President serves as the head of state and the Prime Minister is the head of government. The government is divided into three branches: the executive, legislative, and judicial. The Hellenic Parliament is a unicameral body responsible for making laws and overseeing the government.
Elections are held every four years, allowing citizens to vote for their representatives. The political system encourages multiple parties, with the two largest being New Democracy and Syriza. The government is responsible for implementing policies, managing public services, and ensuring the welfare of its citizens.
