Great Rann
The Great Rann of Kutch is a vast salt desert located in the state of Gujarat, India. It spans approximately 7,500 square kilometers and is known for its unique landscape, which features white salt flats that stretch as far as the eye can see. The region is part of the larger Rann of Kutch, which includes both the Great and Little Rann.
This area is famous for its diverse wildlife, including the endangered Indian Wild Ass and various migratory birds. The Great Rann is also home to the annual Rann Utsav, a cultural festival that showcases local crafts, music, and dance, attracting tourists from around the world.
