Grbavica War
The Grbavica War refers to the conflict that took place in the Grbavica neighborhood of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the Bosnian War from 1992 to 1995. This area was heavily affected by ethnic tensions between Bosniaks and Serbs, leading to significant violence and displacement of residents.
The war resulted in numerous human rights violations, including forced evictions and ethnic cleansing. The Grbavica neighborhood became a symbol of the broader struggles faced during the war, highlighting the impact of nationalism and the complexities of post-Yugoslav conflicts.
