Grass Varieties
Grass varieties are classified into two main categories: cool-season grasses and warm-season grasses. Cool-season grasses, such as Kentucky bluegrass and fescue, thrive in cooler temperatures and are often greenest in spring and fall. They are commonly used in northern climates.
Warm-season grasses, like Bermudagrass and Zoysiagrass, grow best in warmer temperatures and are most vibrant during the summer months. These grasses are typically found in southern regions and are well-suited for lawns, sports fields, and golf courses due to their drought resistance and durability.
