Grand Duke Peter Nikolaevich
Grand Duke Peter Nikolaevich was a member of the Russian royal family, born on December 25, 1864. He was the son of Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich and Grand Duchess Anastasia. Peter served in the Russian army and held various military positions, gaining recognition for his leadership during World War I.
In addition to his military career, Peter Nikolaevich was known for his interest in art and culture. He was involved in several charitable organizations and supported the arts in Russia. He passed away on January 15, 1931, in Paris, where he spent much of his later life in exile.
