Grand Buddha Scenic Area
The Grand Buddha Scenic Area is located in Leshan, Sichuan Province, China. It is famous for the Giant Buddha, a massive statue carved into a cliff face during the Tang Dynasty. Standing at 71 meters tall, it depicts Maitreya, the Buddha of the Future, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
