Governor Of Maharashtra
The Governor of Maharashtra is the constitutional head of the state of Maharashtra in India. Appointed by the President of India, the Governor plays a crucial role in the state's governance, overseeing the implementation of laws and policies. The Governor also has the authority to summon and dissolve the state legislature, as well as to grant assent to bills passed by it.
In addition to legislative duties, the Governor represents the state at official functions and acts as a link between the state and the central government. The position is largely ceremonial, with real executive power resting with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the Council of Ministers.
