Government of Malaysia
The Government of Malaysia operates as a constitutional monarchy, where the Yang di-Pertuan Agong serves as the king, elected from among the nine Malay state rulers. The government is divided into three branches: the executive, legislative, and judiciary, ensuring a system of checks and balances.
The legislative branch consists of two houses: the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) and the Dewan Negara (Senate). The Prime Minister, who leads the executive branch, is appointed from the majority party in the Dewan Rakyat. This structure allows for democratic governance while maintaining traditional monarchy elements.
