Golda Meir
Golda Meir was an influential Israeli politician and the fourth Prime Minister of Israel, serving from 1969 to 1974. Born on May 3, 1898, in Kiev, Ukraine, she immigrated to the United States with her family in 1906. Meir was known for her strong leadership during challenging times, including the Yom Kippur War in 1973, and she played a significant role in the founding of the state of Israel.
