Gokturk
The Gokturk Khaganate was an ancient Turkic state that existed from the 6th to the 8th century. It was one of the first Turkic empires, emerging in Central Asia and playing a significant role in the history of the region. The Gokturks were known for their military prowess and established a vast territory that included parts of modern-day Mongolia, China, and Kazakhstan.
The empire was divided into two main branches: the Eastern and Western Gokturks. They were influential in the spread of Turkic culture and language, and their legacy can still be seen in various Turkic-speaking nations today. The Gokturks also developed a unique script, known as the Gokturk script, which was one of the earliest forms of writing used by Turkic peoples.
