Glenbuck Village
Glenbuck Village is a small, former mining community located in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Established in the late 19th century, it was primarily built to support the local coal mining industry. The village is known for its unique layout and the historical significance of its mining heritage.
The village gained attention as the birthplace of Bill Shankly, a famous football manager who led Liverpool FC to great success. Today, Glenbuck is largely abandoned, with remnants of its past still visible, serving as a reminder of the once-thriving community that existed there.
